Since the age of twelve, when I first saw the film ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ I have been obsessed with the character Holly Golightly. The place she lived (New York City), the people she meets, her chic style and joie de vivre all helped to capture my imagination and it has remained my favourite film of all time. My favourite character from the movie was of course ‘Cat’ (being a cat owner myself). Unfortunately we weren’t able to find a replacement for ‘cat’ but we have used his image in the feature!
For a long time now I have wanted to recreate the film I remember from my youth in a photoshoot for Matrimony UK® …. and here are the results of our labours.
Gathering around me a team of wonderfully talented wedding professionals and using the backdrop of Gloucester Quays to try and replicate the tall buildings of New York City we set about recreating our own version of ‘Holly’s’ world.
